Notre Dame assistant Scott Booker and defensive coordinator Bob Diaco stopped by St. Pius X in Atlanta last week to find out if they should be recruiting 2014 safety Nick Glass even though he committed to Georgia last month.
They had to be happy with the answer they got.
“They really can’t talk to me, but they talked to my coach and they said they liked me a lot,” Glass said of the Irish assistants.
“They know I’m committed to Georgia, so they didn’t really know how hard to pursue me. I told my coach I’d be willing to look at Notre Dame. I’m really interested and I’d really give them a chance, so I guess the recruiting from Notre Dame will be picking up soon.”
