Whatever caused Tee Shepard to leave Notre Dame won’t have nearly as much of an impact on the recruitment of his former Fresno Central High School teammate L.J. Moore as whatever drew Shepard to Notre Dame in the first place.
Moore, a 2013 cornerback at the school Shepard played his first three years of high school ball, has several scholarship offers, but has already started looking hard at the Irish.
“When my friend Tee went up there, I was getting more interested,” the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder said. “There was something out there that made him fall in love with the school. Me and him have some things in common, so I thought I would like to go see it and from talking with Coach (Mike) Denbrock, I’m starting to like it even more.”
