Luke Rubenzer made the trip to the Midwest this weekend intent on impressing the coaching staffs at Northwestern and Notre Dame and while reps were far from abundant in Chicago, the 2014 Arizona quarterback feels like he proved what he can do in South Bend.
“I thought I did really well,” the 6-foot, 170-pounder from Scottsdale’s Saguaro High School said after working out at the Irish’s Future Stars Camp.
“I would say I was one of the top three quarterbacks there.”
Rubenzer felt like he had a solid overall performance.
“I thought I was pretty accurate in my throws other than one of them and it seemed like I had quicker feet than most of the other quarterbacks,” he said. “It just seemed like I was focused and everything the whole time.”
