MoanaOfa1During the 2010 football season, defensive end/ linebacker Moana Ofa (Lehi, Utah / Westlake) devastated opposing quarterbacks by racking up 22 sacks in 10 games, but still he was unappreciated in his own state.

The talented junior didn’t receive any accolades, such as all-conference or all-state, and he wasn’t even given the honor of being named honorable mention in any category. This seems kind of humorous seeing that plenty of college recruiters have already been banging down his high school’s doors to express their interest in him.

“I think I have over 20 to 25 offers right now, but I’m not really sure of the exact number,” said Ofa. “I think Notre Dame might have verbally offered me, but I’m not totally sure. I need to talk to the coaches to be positive.”
