Irish Sports Daily – ND Sends Pair Of Coaches To Neal

DurronNealDBIf Durron Neal had any doubts about how badly Notre Dame wants him, they were erased on Friday when the Irish sent a pair of assistant coaches to see the wide receiver at De Smet Jesuit High School in St. Louis.

Offensive line coach Ed Warinner handles recruiting in Missouri for the Irish, but wide receivers coach Tony Alford was in the state visiting another wide receiver, Dorial Green-Beckham, on Friday and went with Warinner to see Neal.

The Irish assistants were limited in their conversations with Neal, but Alford’s presence said plenty.

“Him coming in person lets me know how bad they want me and how many different ways they can use me,” said Neal.
