Schyler Miles doesn’t have an offer from Notre Dame or Florida yet, but both schools are battling for the attention of the senior linebacker from Tampa, Fla. (Berkeley Prep).
The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder hosted a trio of coaches from Florida on Sunday before being excused from school for a bit to have an in-home visit with Irish assistant Tony Alford on Monday afternoon.
“Everything went real well,” Miles said of his meeting with Alford. “He was at my house for about an hour and a half. He mostly talked about the opportunity Notre Dame presents me. We talked a little bit about the tradition there and how the education can affect you and what your business life is like after football.
“He talked to me about where the offer is and where they want me to play on their team.”
