With the May evaluation period expiring on Thursday, Notre Dame coaches will be making their last stops at high schools around the country.
One stop on the itinerary will be Tottenville High School in Staten Island, N.Y., to check on 2013 running back Augustus Edwards.
“It’s starting to heat up a little bit,” Tottenville head coach Jim Munson said of the Irish’s pursuit of Edwards.
“They’ve showed some interest and he’s got some interest in them. They’re just in the beginning stages, but recruiting is going to wrap up tomorrow, so I think they’re going to come in tomorrow and give him a look.”
