Sometimes things just don’t work out and there are no hard feelings. That appears to be the case with Leon McQuay III and Michigan.
The 2013 Tampa safety initially had Michigan in his top three, but that’s changed.
“They were trying to get me to commit and I wasn’t ready to commit yet,” the 6-foot-1, 180-pounder said here at the Champion Gridiron Kings this weekend. “They said they weren’t sure they could hold a spot for me.”
So now McQuay has a new top three.
“USC, Vanderbilt and Florida State,” he said.
